    Maison Margiela’s packaging is founded in the core philosophies of the House. The optical white handles of carrier bags appear frayed to evoke the trace of time as an evolution of the house’s original anonymous fabric totes.

The all gender grammar of Maison Margiela inspires jeans and trouser silhouettes approached with radical lines and expert cutting. Creative Director John Galliano applies the philosophies of haute couture to tailored and casual trousers, chinos and shorts, while jeans – classic, ripped, frayed or distressed – materialise in a variety of selvedge denim washes, cut in skinny, straight or oversized volumes.
